Technical life is only part of the equation. Ownership structures, charter arrangements and operating costs established earlier in field life may no longer work as production declines.
Amplus combines engineering and operational experience with commercial expertise to assess whether a different ownership, operating or financing model could keep the field economic for longer.
For suitable opportunities, this can include revised ownership or leasing structures, lower-cost operations and maintenance models, investment or other commercially flexible arrangements.
Where the existing production solution has become too costly for the remaining reserves, Amplus can also assess whether a right-sized redeployed FPSO could provide a lower-cost route for tail-end production and extend economic field life.
